Inhibitory effect of useful components from Cheongmoknosang mulberry leaves extracts against Helicobacter pylori were investigated to develope them to a health functional food. For biomass application of Cheongmoknosang mulberry leaf, the optimum culture condition was tested. It was found that optimum culture condition for spot culture of Cheongmoknosang mulberry leaf was 3% sucrose at 27℃ for 20days with MS medium. Callus formation of Cheongmoknosang has an influence on naphthalene acetic acid(NAA), 2,4-dichlorophenoxy acetic acid(2,4-D), 6-benzylaminopurine(BA) and kinetin. These growth regulators including 10 μM NAA, 2,4-D, BA and kinetin in MS medium showed good growth rate of callus by incubation at 27℃ for 20 days. The growth rate of callus was higher in mixed hormone treatment than that of single hormone treatment. The optimum culture condition for Cheongmoknosang callus was 3% sucrose at 27℃
